I thought it might be fun to do a weekly before and after editing. If this is something you'd enjoy seeing on a regular basis, let me know in the comments.
It's no secret that I love Photoshop. And who doesn't love a peek behind the scenes? I love having a chance to check out other Photographers before and afters, so hopefully someone will enjoy seeing mine as well.
This is the latest addition to my Fine Art Portfolio; Fall Blew Through. With the leaves changing colors, and the cooler temperatures, it's easy to see where my inspiration came from. Fall is my favorite time of year, gone is the heat of summer, and we haven't made it to the cold days of winter.
I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed photographing and editing it.

Fine art may have a different meaning to everyone, to me it is the surreal, the things we envision in our minds that will never be. I've been brainstorming for a while some idea's I have for some Fine Art portraits. Since my Fine Art work is experimental, and dreamy, the possibilities are endless. What I can dream up, I can create in an image. It's no secret that I love Photoshop, and editing. Bringing a photograph to life, to the vision in my mind is magical.
This is the first of what will be many Fine Art images that I am working on. I hope you enjoy looking at it, as much as I enjoyed creating it.

After meeting and photographing my clients, which is an absolute blast, my second favorite part of photographing your family is editing. When I'm photographing, I'm shooting for the final image. I have a good idea in my mind of what I want, and what the images will look like.
However, an image really comes to life in Photoshop. Editing is where the magic happens. Whatever image. I had in mind when I clicked the shutter, is brought to life in Photoshop. A good camera alone is not enough to make an amazing portrait.
I spend between 15-20 hours on each and every client that comes to me. The largest amount of that time is spent in Photoshop. Don't get me wrong, an image needs to be good Straight Out Of Camera (SOOC), but editing can take a good photograph. and make it a great photograph.
