Can I just say how much I love my job!?! I got to meet sweet Cora and her lovely parent's at their Fresh 48 hospital session last week, at Baptist Hospital. Cora is teeny tiny, and ohhh so adorable!
I just love photographing families at Fresh 48 sessions, there is just something so sweet and honest about those first hours after birth. It's the most amazing thing when two people become parent's for the first time, and seeing all the love and wonder is breathtaking. Unlike posed newborn sessions, Fresh 48 sessions focus on connections and emotion. There's no posing, no props, nothing but a beautiful new baby and family. Don't get me wrong, posed newborn sessions are my joy and I love them, but there's just something about documenting new life in an honest, raw way that makes me happy.
I can't wait for Cora's newborn session soon!
